IDF Drone Triggers Iron Dome in North

Israel’s air raid sirens system was trigged Thursday across the Upper Galilee area, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit has confirmed.

The IDF said that after looking into the incident it could rule out a breach of Israeli airspace by a suspected enemy drone, saying that all signs indicate that it was an Israeli UAV that triggered the system.

The Iron Dome defense system engaged but did not hit the drone, the IDF said.

There were no reports of injuries or damage. The Israeli Air Force has opened an investigation into the incident.
