Israel Coronavirus Infections Continue to Fall

Coronavirus infections continue to decline, with 129 new cases on Monday, as per the Health Ministry.

There are currently 2,206 active cases of the virus in Israel, of which 293 are being treated in hospitals, with 181 patients in serious condition.

The infection coefficient fell to 0.75 as of April 9th, far below the 1.0 R reproduction rate, which means the number of people that one infected person will pass on a virus to, on average.

The total number of coronavirus-related fatalities now stands at 6,342, including three deaths Monday.
