BDE: Harav Shaul Breisch, Zt”l, Rav of Zurich
We regret to inform you of the petirah of Harav Shaul Breisch, zt”l, the Rav of Zurich, several minutes before shkiyah on Erev Shabbos after several months of illness. He was 86 years old.
Rav Shaul was the son of Harav Mordechai Yaakov Breisch, zt”l, the Rav of Zurich and mechaber of Shut Chelkas Yaakov, and succeeded him as the Rav in 1976.
His levayah is scheduled for Sunday morning at 9:00 AM in Zurich in his Bais Medrash Agudas Achim. After transporting the aron to Eretz Yisroel, another levayah is scheduled to be held in Bnei Brak and Yerushalayim, followed by kevurah on Har Menuchos.
