IDF Fires on Gaza Infiltrators

YERUSHALAYIM -

The fragile calm in Gaza was broken on Sunday as a number of Gazans crossed the border fence into Israel and threw explosive devices before IDF troops fired at them, causing them to flee back across the border, according to media reports.

No injuries were reported on either side.

Also on Sunday, two false air raid alarms sent thousands of residents in southern Israel’s Netiv Ha’asara and Yad Mordechai to shelters.

An army spokesperson said it is investigating the cause of the alarm. So far there were no reports of any rockets entering Israeli territory.
