NYPD Searching for Boro Park Burglary Suspect

The New York Police Department is looking for a man suspected of four early-morning burglaries in Boro Park during the past two weeks.

On Sep. 25, (the second day of Sukkos) the suspect is believed to have committed two burglaries. At 1:30 a.m., he forced open a rear door of the Belzer shtiebel on 39th Street and 13th Ave., where he stole two Sefer Torah crowns. Less than an hour later, he forced open a rear window of a business at 13th Ave. and 46th Street, where he stole a substantial amount of cash, a cellphone and a hard drive.

Last Shabbos, at 1:22 a.m., the suspect forced open a rear window of a building on 15th Ave. at 39th Street. He stole a substantial amount of cash . And on Monday, at 4:20 a.m., the man broke into Seret-Vizhnitz at 4811 13 Avenue, where he ransacked lockers.
