Israel Again Admits Gaza Rioters for Transfer to Jordan Hospitals

At the request of Jordan’s King Abdullah, Israel admitted 22 Gaza Arabs for passage to Jordan for medical treatment, Channel 20 revealed Wednesday. The Arabs were injured in riots over the past week at the Gaza border fence, targeted by Israeli forces for throwing rocks and firebombs at them, and for engaging in terror activities.

The injured were transferred to Israel Tuesday at the Erez crossing, along with dozens of relatives. The Gazans were transported by secure bus to the Allenby Bridge crossing into Jordan. This is the third time in a week Israel has allowed such transports from Gaza to Jordan, at the request of Abdullah.
