Liberman Returns From Washington

YERUSHALAYIM

Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman returned to Israel on Monday afternoon after a visit to Washington where he held meetings with his counterpart U.S. Secretary of Defense James Mattis and National Security Adviser John Bolton. They reportedly discussed matters of Mideast regional security.

Due to the trip back, Liberman was absent from a security cabinet meeting held in the army’s Kirya headquarters in Tel Aviv earlier in the day.

“He landed in Israel a short while ago and is now making phone calls to the relevant figures,” his office said.
