The full levayah details of Harav Belsky, zt”l, were released early Friday by Yeshiva Torah Vodaath.
The levayah will take place on Friday Erev Shabbos, Parashas Yisro in the Yeshiva Torah Vodaath, 425 East 9th Street, Brooklyn, N.Y. at 10:00 am.
To accommodate the massive crowd expected at the levayah, the Yeshiva is working closely with NYPD and asks for the public’s cooperation.
The main beis hamedrash and the dining room will be designated for men. The auditorium will be designated for women. The Yeshivah Ketanah dining room will be designated for Kohanim.
All areas outside of the beis hamedrash will have live sound and video hook up.
The Yeshivah advises that East 9th street will be closed to vehicular traffic. They ask that all those wishing to attend should leave themselves ample time to arrive, as parking in the area will be difficult. The use of mass transportation is preferred.
They also advise using Coney Island Avenue and Ditmas Avenue, as a drop-off area, as traffic around the yeshivah blocks will be congested.
To accommodate talmidim and chovevei Torah worldwide, the yeshivah has arranged for the following methods to participate and listen to the hespedim:
Kol Halashon: 718-906-6400. Press * and follow the prompt for Rav Belsky
TeleConference: 718-557-0505, press 1
On Motzoei Shabbos, at 9:30 p.m., there will be an opportunity to escort and pay kavod acharon to the Rosh Yeshivah at JFK EL-AL Cargo.
