MINEOLA, N.Y. (AP) —

Nassau County will sell five acres near the Nassau Coliseum to build Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center’s outpatient treatment and research facility, County Executive Ed Mangano said Tuesday.

Mangano says the new facility will bring 250 new jobs. If approved by the County Legislature, the new facility would open by 2018.
