New DMV Online Allows Printing of a Temporary License

ALBANY -

New Yorkers who renew or replace their driver licenses, learner permits, car registration or non-driver ID card can now print out a temporary card from the Department of Motor Vehicles website instead of having to go to an office, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Wednesday.

The documents, which will be valid for 60 days, are on an 8-and-a-half by 11-inch page and have a background image of the state coat of arms.
