Beekeepers Set Out to Remove A Million Bees From Home
Beekeepers have quite the task ahead of them as they remove an estimated 1 million honey bees that have taken up residence at a Wallkill, N.Y., home.
Two beekeepers were at work Thursday removing siding on the outside of the house to get to the bees. The Orange County family living there discovered the bees while they were clearing trees. One of the homeowners is allergic to the insects.
Marcel Witschard Jr. and Carl Witschard say it will take at least a week for them to remove the bees.
