IDF Shoots Back at Drive-By Bomber
IDF soldiers stationed near the village of Beit Omar south of Beit Lechem were the targets of a drive-by bomber late Monday night.
While driving past, an occupant hurled an explosive device at the soldiers. They opened fire, and Palestinian medical sources later said that a 17-year-old youth who was in the car sustained serious gunshot injuries, and a 19-year-old was lightly injured.
No soldiers were injured in the incident.
The IDF has launched an investigation into the incident.
