NY Officer to Attend Wedding of Baby He Saved

A Yonkers cop will be a guest at the wedding of a baby whose life he saved two decades ago, the Journal News reported. Joseph Barca will attend the August 17, wedding of Shammarah Hamideh, on whom he performed CPR in 1993 when she was 2 months old. Barca sends Hamideh, a nursing school graduate now, a birthday card every year.
