Coaster Stops During 233-Foot Ascent; Riders Walk
A roller coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure lost power partway up its 233-foot peak on Friday afternoon, forcing riders to walk down along the tracks, NBC reported. The computer system stopped the ride as designed and all passengers were off in 23 minutes. The ride reopened less than an hour later after safety checks.
