1-Day NYC Health Care Workers’ Walkout Averted
A union representing 70,000 New York City nurses on Monday reached a deal to avert a one-day strike at more than 100 hospitals and nursing homes that had been set for July 31, The Associated Press reported. The pact with the 1199 union includes protection of benefits with no out-of-pocket expenses.
