A longtime adviser to Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Friday left the Democratic governor’s administration. A Cuomo spokesman said Monday that the departure of Howard Glaser was “long expected” and the two remain on excellent terms. Glaser has played a vital role negotiating budget deals and spearheading the state’s response to Superstorm Sandy.
