New Yorkers Arrive at Work Latest in The Nation
New Yorkers get to work later than people in any other metro area in the United States, not showing up on average until 8:24 a.m., the new data crunching site Fivethirtyeight said. About 25 percent get to work at 7:28, but that is offset by the 75 percent who don’t arrive until 9:32. Joining New York in the top five is Atlantic City, N.J. (8:23), San Jose, Calif. (8:21), Ithaca, N.Y. (8:19) and San Francisco (8:17). Conversely, median arrival time in Hinesville, Ga., is 7:01 a.m.
