Wolf That Attacked 12 People in Teveria, Killed
A wolf that attacked and bit 12 people in the Teveria area was tracked down and killed on Thursday afternoon, Arutz Sheva reported.
Yossi Oknin, head of the Teveria branch of the United Hatzalah emergency service, said that they went after the animal following the attacks, and when they came upon the wolf, it tried to attack them, as well. Oknin shot and brought it down in time.
Due to concern that the wolf may have been rabid, people who came to Puria hospital in the area on Thursday were given tetanus shots.
The Health Ministry called on anyone who may have come in contact with the wolf to be examined at a hospital.
The animal’s body was sent for veterinary examination at the Ministry of Agriculture.
