Lawsuit: Landlord Cleaned Out Wrong Apartment

A Manhattan tenant sued his landlord after the entire contents of his apartment were mistakenly removed and dumped, the Daily News reported. Nilay Shroff claims the landlord sent a cleaning crew on Oct. 9, 2013, to empty apartment 2B but they mistakenly went to his apartment — 2D. Apart from furniture and clothing, Shroff, 27, says he lost irreplaceable personal items.
