Syracuse Lags in Race to Be Snowiest U.S. City
Syracuse is in danger of losing its title as the snowiest big city in America, The Associated Press reported. Salt City in central New York had 81 inches of snow as of Monday to rank fourth in the race to win the Golden Snow Globe competition. Erie, Penn., is the leader with 107.5 inches. Syracuse even trails Buffalo by 13.4 inches. Last year, Syracuse won both contests.
