NY’s Two Senators Among Most Liberal

New York’s Sen. Chuck Schumer is tied with two others as the most liberal senator in 2013, National Journal reported Thursday. His New York colleague, Kirsten Gillibrand, also a Democrat, is tied for third place. Schumer is the number three in the Senate, probably explaining why he voted party line, and Gillibrand has become a leader in that chamber on women’s issues.
