Sting Targets Unlicensed Movers in NJ
State officials have fined 26 unlicensed moving companies in a sting orchestrated by the state Consumer Affairs Division, The Associated Press reported. Each company was fined $2,500; two of them also face federal fines of $25,000 because they crossed state borders. About 290 moving companies are licensed in N.J.
