Prosecutors to Reduce Charges in SUV Assault
Top charges are likely to be reduced against an off-duty undercover NYPD officer and nine other bikers charged in the gang beating of a SUV driver, The Associated Press reported. Lesser charges may give them 15 years in prison instead of 25. Prosecutors also offered plea deals but none were accepted.
