NY, NJ Brace for More Snow Tuesday
Residents who have finished digging out from a weekend snowstorm will need their shovels again. Forecasters are predicting snow could slow the ride to work on Tuesday for New York and New Jersey. Light snow is expected to start late Monday and continue into Tuesday, with 1 to 3 inches possible. The snow may mix with or change to rain before ending by the afternoon. New York City issued a snow alert starting at 4 a.m. Tuesday. Its personnel spent Monday loading salt spreaders and attaching plows and chains.
