Fortinet CFO Departing, Interim Replacement Named

Fortinet Inc. said Wednesday that its chief financial officer, Ahmed Rubaie, is stepping down.

Nancy Bush, the network-security company’s controller, has been named interim CFO.

Fortinet said Rubaie is leaving Dec. 5 for personal reasons. He will remain available to the company until March 5 to assist with the transition.

Bush has served as vice president and worldwide corporate controller of Fortinet since 2011. She also worked as interim CFO of Fortinet from September 2012 to April 2013.

Fortinet said it has a search underway for a permanent replacement for the CFO position, and, separately, for a senior operations executive.

Shares of Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Fortinet fell 89 cents, or 4.5 percent, to $18.75 in extended trading following the announcement. They added 4 cents to close regular trading at $19.64.
