Lawmaker’s Punch Lines Raise $11K for Charity

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) —

New Jersey Assembly GOP Leader Jon Bramnick performed for charity in Atlantic City, raising $11,000 for Superstorm Sandy relief on the first night of the three-day League of Municipalities convention. The lawmaker’s 10-minute routine drew on his legislative career and experiences as a New Jerseyan but did not poke at Gov. Chris Christie. Bramnick has won the state bar association’s funniest lawyer title three years in a row.
