Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s daughter has some harsh words for New York City’s animal shelter system.
Georgina Bloomberg, an animal rights activist, said that government “doesn’t care about animals.” She said that people not wanting to adopt from the city’s animal shelters indicates “failure.”
A spokesman for her father declined to comment.
