Two-Year-Old Boy Drowns In Pool After Wandering Outside

Authorities say a two-year-old boy has drowned in a backyard pool after wandering away from his family’s Buffalo-area home.
Police in the town of Tonawanda, just north of Buffalo, said that the boy got out of the house around 1 p.m. Thursday and ended up in a nearby pool. He was given emergency CPR but was pronounced dead at Kenmore Mercy Hospital.
Police haven’t released the child’s name.
