Thousands of Orthodox women and seminary girls filled the women’s section at the Kosel this morning, Friday, Rosh Chodesh Sivan, as they gathered for davening and Tehillim.
Their actions demonstrated a true kiddush Hashem.
There was some provocation, however, between men at the Kosel Plaza and Neshot HaKotel, the Reform and Conservative group of women who disregard the traditional sanctity of the Kosel, who were about 30 in number. Police protected the women.
According to one of the main organizers, today’s massive gathering of Orthodox women has changed the landscape in a definitive way.
