Poll Shows Drop in NJ Quality of Life

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) —

A new poll finds a dip in how New Jerseyans perceive their quality of life.

The Monmouth University poll out Monday finds 6 in 10 respondents say Jersey is a good or excellent place to live. But that’s down by 7 points from February and off by 11 from a decade-high 72 percent recorded after Superstorm Sandy.

About a third of those polled rate life as fair or poor. The poll also finds hometown pride fell to its lowest score in 30 years.
