Man ID’d in Retesting of WTC Remains

NEW YORK (AP) —

Authorities retesting human remains recovered from the World Trade Center site have identified those of a 55-year-old man.

A spokeswoman for the New York City medical examiner’s office said Wednesday the man’s name won’t be released at his family’s request.

Authorities have been newly sifting through about 60 truckloads of debris that has recovered more than 20 potential remains.
