YERUSHALAYIM -

Thousands of residents of Modi’in Ilit have received a special disk of Pesach songs produced by “L’chaim Tish,” at the initiative of Modi’in Ilit mayor Rabbi Yaakov Guterman in conjunction with Mateh Zahav Ironi, the national highway safety council.

The unique disk features not only traditional music for the chag, but interspersed between the songs halachic comments about safety from poskei hador intended to inculcate in young listeners the importance of safety on the roads in the eyes of the Torah.

The selections include Kol Dodi composed by Harav Boruch Ber Leibowitz, Rosh Yeshivas Kamenitz,  V’hi She’amda  by the Kedushas Tzion of Bobov, and B’tzeis Yisrael, from the Divrei Yisrael of Modzhitz, zecher tzaddikim livrachah, and more.
