NYPD: No Credible Terrorist Threat During Pesach

Police officials said Tuesday that they know of no credible terrorist threat in New York City ahead of Pesach.

“We believe that by working with you, the communities we serve, we can continue to make this city safe from crime and terrorism for all residents,” Police Chief William Bratton said.

NYPD counterterrorism official John Miller gave members of the Jewish community an intelligence update at a pre-Pesach briefing, detailing terrorist organizations’ media and recruitment campaigns.

NYPD Director of Intelligence Analysis Rebecca Weiner said images of New York City buildings and traffic scenes are often displayed in propaganda material.
