BDE: Yisroel Aryeh Spira, 7, Niftar After Extended Illness

(Rockland Daily) — The Belzer community in Monsey received the news of the tragic passing of hayeled Yisroel Aryeh Spira at the age of seven, who suffered with a disease for a number of years.

Yisroel Aryeh was a scion of great Chassidic dynasties, and a grandson of the Admorim of Narol, Kosson, and Bilitz.

He was born to his father, Rav Shmuel Alter Spira, a mashpia in the Belzer kehillah in Monsey, and his mother Bracha Miriam, the daughter of the Bilitzer Rov. His paternal grandfather was Reb Avrohom Yehoshua Heschel Spira, a major askan, who passed away suddenly six months ago.

In recent years, many of have been davening for Yisroel Alter ben Bracha Miriam, but he sadly returned his soul to its Maker.

The Levaya will take place Monday, 11:00 a.m. at the Belz Shul in Monsey.
