IDF Confirms Shooting Down Cruise Missile From Iraq

The IDF on Thursday confirmed it shot down a cruise missile launched “from the east,” indicating it was fired from Iraq. The IDF has previously described attacks from Iraq using similar terminology.

Additionally, the IDF reported that a “suspicious aerial target” from Lebanon was intercepted by the Iron Dome air defense system after alarms sounded in the northern town of Margaliot. There were no injuries or damage caused in either incident.
