Suspect Arrested for Over 15 Burglaries in Lakewood and Toms River

A man suspected of a string of burglaries in Lakewood and Toms River was apprehended last week, Lakewood Police announced Tuesday.

Christopher Green faces a total of 17 criminal charges, including first degree robbery, second degree armed burglary, conspiracy, and multiple weapons-related offenses for allegedly committing more than 15 burglaries between March 30th and April 6th. On at least one occasion, he was allegedly armed with a handgun.

Police in Lakewood, Toms River and Neptune worked together to identify and locate the suspect. Court ordered search warrants were executed, resulting in the recovery of proceeds taken from several of the burglaries. Authorities also seized four firearms, including an AR15 and a sub gun.
