Ministry of Agriculture inspectors confiscated 130,000 eggs that were illegally smuggled into the country from the Palestinian Authority and stamped with counterfeit marks.

The operation uncovered 94,000 eggs within a truck destined for markets in Arad, while additional seizures took place at a checkpoint near Beitar Illit.

During a raid on a warehouse in Nazareth, authorities discovered 6,000 unrefrigerated eggs. An individual arrested at the site confessed that these eggs had been smuggled from the Palestinian Authority for sale in local markets.

Due to the lack of proper documentation and origin verification, all seized eggs were destroyed to ensure public safety and regulatory compliance.
