Hamas Leader to Hold Talks With Erdogan in Turkey

Ismail Haniyeh, a leader of Hamas, is scheduled to visit Turkey this weekend for discussions with Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan, according to broadcaster NTV.

During a parliamentary session with his AK Party on Wednesday, Erdogan stated, “I will host the leader of the Palestinian cause at the weekend. We will discuss a number of issues,” and referred to Hamas as a “liberation movement.”
