Bedouin Girl Still in Critical Condition Following Iranian Missile Attack

Seven-year-old Bedouin girl Amina Hassouna remains in life-threatening condition after being injured in Iran’s missile attack, according to officials at Soroka Medical Center in Be’er Sheva. She has been placed on a ventilator following head injuries caused by shrapnel from a missile that was intercepted near her home in Al-Fura, an unrecognized Bedouin village in the Negev close to Be’er Sheva.

Dr. Tzachi Lazar, the director of Soroka’s pediatric intensive care unit, stated, “Amina’s condition continues to be severe.”

He added, “An interdisciplinary team including intensive care specialists, anesthesiologists, neurosurgeons, and others are diligently providing her round-the-clock care.”
