The damaged community center in Arab al-Aramshe, Wednesday.

At least 18 people were wounded, including one in critical condition, when a rocket struck a community center in the western Galilee village of Arab al-Aramshe on Wednesday afternoon. All the victims were transported to Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya. Among them, three are listed in serious condition. Emergency response included aid from an MDA helicopter and an IDF helicopter.

The Hezbollah group claimed responsibility for the attack, describing the rockets as heavily laden with explosives and aimed at a military target. However, the strike hit a civilian area.

The terror group said the attack was a response to the killing of three of its members, including two commanders, in Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon Tuesday.

No warning sirens were activated before the strike.

In response, the IDF directed artillery fire toward the origin of the rocket launch.

During the treatment of the initial victims, warning sirens sounded twice more in the area of Arab al-Aramshe, indicating further escalations.
