FM Katz Calls for Global Sanctions on Iran’s Missile Program

Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz revealed in a social media post Tuesday that he has sent letters to 32 countries, urging them to impose sanctions on Iran’s missile program. Katz emphasized the need for action after Iran’s first-ever direct attack on Israel and called for the designation of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization.

Katz stated, “Alongside the military response to the firing of missiles and drones, I am leading a diplomatic attack against Iran.” He disclosed that he has reached out to numerous foreign ministers and leading figures worldwide, demanding sanctions on Iran’s missile project and the designation of the Revolutionary Guards as terrorists, in efforts to contain and weaken Iran.

“Iran must be stopped now – before it is too late,” he noted.
