In a precise operation conducted Thursday by the IDF and the Shin Bet, an Israeli Air Force aircraft successfully targeted and eliminated Ridwan Mohammed Abdallah Ridwan, a key Hamas military terrorist responsible for the organization’s internal security operations in Jabalya. Ridwan was instrumental in directing armed terrorists and commandeering humanitarian aid trucks in the northern Gaza Strip, significantly impacting Hamas’ capability to disrupt aid distribution.

Additionally, the IDF operation led to the elimination of Hamed Muhammad Ali Ahmed, another high-ranking Hamas military commander overseeing internal security in Jabalya, and one more operative from Hamas’ Jabalya Battalion.

The IDF’s 162nd Division is actively continuing its intelligence-driven campaign to dismantle terrorist networks and infrastructure across the central Gaza Strip. In recent actions, IDF forces have engaged and neutralized several terrorists through ground confrontations and aerial assaults. Specific targets have included underground launch posts and missile launchers prepared for imminent use.

Furthermore, IDF fighter jets have conducted extensive strikes on over 60 terrorist sites within Gaza in the past day alone. These sites comprised additional underground launch facilities and military infrastructures, as well as locations actively utilized by armed terrorists. Concurrently, IDF artillery units have been targeting and destroying terrorist infrastructure in the central Gaza Strip, including a significant raid that uncovered and seized military equipment belonging to Islamic Jihad.
