Disruption in Knesset as Hostages’ Relatives Apply Yellow Paint to Hands and Knesset Windows

The gallery above the Knesset plenum was in chaos Wednesday afternoon as activists and relatives of some of the hostages held in Gaza splashed yellow paint onto the glass windows, while some smeared their hands with the paint, symbolizing solidarity with the captives.

Security personnel intervened, confronting the protesters, and ushered them away from the windows before escorting them out of the premises.

In a display of support, several opposition MKs in the plenum raised their hands in solidarity with the protesters in the gallery above.
