Gallant Asserts Ongoing Action Against Adversaries, Hinting at Damascus Strike

Indicating possible involvement in the strike on Damascus on Monday, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant asserted that Israel will take action “everywhere, every day” against its adversaries, aiming to thwart their military buildup.

Speaking at a session of the Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee on Tuesday, Gallant alluded to the strike in which seven officials of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, including the top commander in Syria, were killed. He emphasized Israel’s commitment to proactive defense across multiple fronts.

“We are engaged in a multi-front conflict, both on the offensive and defensive fronts. We witness evidence of this on a daily basis, particularly in recent times,” Gallant said.
