BROOKLYN — A piece of the parking lot at a Home Depot in Brooklyn collapsed Wednesday morning. There were no injuries.
A narrow 10-foot piece of the upper story of the two-story parking lot collapsed to the lower level, at the Home Depot location at 550 Hamilton Ave., near the Gowanus Expressway.
The FDNY says it received the call at 10:06 a.m., and that three engines and two ladders with battalion responded to the scene.
Due to the incident, the upper level of the parking lot is closed. The lower level is open except for the section under which the collapse occurred.
