Monsey Woman Survives Major Car Accident

A Monsey woman sustained only minor injuries when a large tree fell on to her vehicle Monday afternoon in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey.

The incident occurred at around 2:30 p.m., when the woman was driving on a local road. The tree, which likely fell due to intense wind, demolished her car, but the driver only had to be treated for light injuries.

While the back seats – which were unoccupied – caved in altogether, b’chasdei Hashem the driver’s side canopy remained intact, despite being hit by the tree.
