A United Airlines flight from London to Newark airport Friday morning was diverted to Bangor, Maine after passengers became disruptive, the airline said.

Singer Shloimie Daskal, a passenger, posted recorded a video of himself speaking from the plane. He said that the flight was scheduled to land at Newark at 11:30 a.m., but due to the violent passengers, “we had to make an emergency landing.”

“United flight 883 landed in Bangor this morning after two passengers, who appeared intoxicated, became disruptive,” the airline told Hamodia in a statement. “Law enforcement officials removed the two passengers and the flight has already re-departed for Newark Liberty International Airport. The customers will be banned from future United flights while we review this matter.”

The plane continued on to Newark, where it landed without incident.
