Forces Press Offensive in Gaza’s Zeitoun District, Killing 2 Terror Squads

Israeli forces continued their operations in the Zeitoun district of Gaza City, targeting Hamas terror squads. The IDF reported on Thursday morning that two terror squads, which had fired on troops, were identified and subsequently eliminated by an aircraft. The operation also included the identification of three terrorists using drones in a nearby compound, leading to a ground forces-directed airstrike on the compound. Following the airstrike, five rocket launching pits were discovered. Additionally, troops directed another aircraft to strike a separate terror operative.

In central Gaza, soldiers killed several terrorists and uncovered weapons within the past day. During one incident, a terror squad approaching Israeli ground forces was eliminated through an airstrike.

Meanwhile, in Khan Yunis, soldiers killed several terrorists and dismantled terrorist infrastructure. In one specific incident, ground forces directed an airstrike on five armed terrorists. Another airstrike in Khan Yunis targeted and killed four terrorists attempting to plant explosives.
