Sirens Blare for the Third Time Sunday in Northern Towns

Rocket warning sirens were activated for the third time Sunday afternoon in mostly evacuated northern border towns, including Kiryat Shemona, Ghajar, and Sdeh Nechemia.

The alert follows the IDF’s confirmation that four rockets were fired from Lebanon toward the Galilee Panhandle, with indications that they landed in open areas earlier in the day.

Since Oct. 8 – the day after the Hamas attacks on southern Israel – there has been a recurring pattern of attacks by Hezbollah-led forces on Israeli communities and military posts along the border. The group claims to be supporting Gaza, citing this as the motive for the continuous assaults.
