The IDF said Sunday that they have completed their operations at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza, confirming the arrest of approximately 200 Palestinian terror suspects who were hiding in the medical facility.

The IDF, including the elite Shayetet 13 unit and forces from the army’s 98th Division, discovered indications of terror activity within the hospital, including a significant quantity of weapons. Sealed boxes of medicine labeled with the names of Israeli hostages were also found.

Throughout the operation, the IDF maintained efforts to supply Nasser Hospital with humanitarian aid, ensuring an uninterrupted electricity supply through an alternative generator. Coordination with the international community facilitated the delivery of food, water, medical equipment, and baby formula. As a precaution, critically ill patients were transferred to other hospitals in the area, with the process coordinated with the international community.

Before concluding their activities, IDF soldiers cleaned the areas they operated in and provided an additional shipment of food. The operation aimed to minimize disruption to the hospital’s functions without harming patients and medical staff.
